The Gallery offers professional-development opportunities for teachers of all subject areas and grade levels who are interested in integrating art into their curricula. You can join our Teacher Leadership Program or design your own professional-development day or workshop.

Teacher Leadership Program

In this free, online program, teachers explore innovative ways to connect their curricula and interest in art with the Gallery’s collection. Meetings are on the first Thursday of the month from 4:00 to 5:00 pm throughout the academic year.

Professional-Development Workshops

Teachers and administrators can contact the Education Department if they wish to organize a departmental, district, or personal professional-development day. We will work with you to connect the collection to your curriculum needs. Our workshops stress inquiry-based teaching, critical thinking, and visual-literacy skills.
