YUAG provides free and open access to images of works in its collection that are believed to be in the public domain, as well as to certain other materials, including the descriptive information accompanying those images (collectively, “open access material”). Use of the YUAG’s open access material is permitted without further application, authorization, or fees due to the YUAG; we ask only that you attribute works and/or their images, without suggestion of endorsement, as described on the Using Images page. The Gallery’s collection data is available in human- and machine-readable formats via its website and online systems. The YUAG continually enhances its scholarship and collection-related data and imaging; the review and updating of historic records and rights information are ongoing.
