于時聖主諮\r\n諏,羣僚咸曰:\r\n君哉,轉郃陽\r\n令,收合餘燼,\r\n芟夷殘迸,絕\r\n其本根,遂訪\r\n故老商量,儁\r\n艾 曹全碑。\r\n白雲山樵臨。\r\n\r\nAt the time the emperor asked [for opinions from his ministers], and all ministers said: "Ask him [Cao Quan]!" And he was appointed to be the governor of Heyang, [and once he gets there] he puts out the rest of the flames [of war], cleared off the rest of the enemy troops, [in order to] end the war completely.
