Adult and community groups can explore the Gallery’s collections and exhibitions on guided visits led by teaching staff or can plan a self-guided visit. All groups must register at least three weeks in advance.

Guided Visits

The free, hour-long visits focus on a selection of works across the permanent collection. The experience is discussion based and encourages visitors to look closely, ask questions, and talk about what they see.

Groups of 10 to 12 people can schedule guided visits based on availability at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 pm, Tuesday through Sunday. Reservations are available October through August and must be made three weeks in advance.

Self-Guided Visits

If your group prefers to visit the Gallery without the guidance of our teaching staff, you can schedule a self-guided visit at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 pm, Tuesday through Sunday. Scheduling your visit helps us ensure that the galleries and collection areas you want to see will be available to you.

  • All groups of ten or more must register at least three weeks in advance.
  • Acceptance of your reservation request is based on availability.
  • Groups who show proof of registration at the Information Desk will have priority in the galleries.
  • Unregistered groups may be asked to return at a later time.

This policy is designed to provide a pleasurable learning experience for everyone, and to ensure the safety and security of both museum visitors and art objects. To schedule a self-guided visit, complete and submit the registration form.
