Obverse Description: ANTONIO WAYNE DUCI EXERCITUS around, COMITIA AMERICANA in exergue. An Indian queen at l. holds a mural crown in her l. hand and with her r. presents a laurel wreath to General Wayne. She wears a cap and a skirt of feathers; at her feet are an alligator, a rope, and the shield of the United States. Beneath Wayne, GATTEAUX.

Reverse Description: STONEY-POINT EXPUGNATUM around, XV JUL. MDCCLXXIX in exergue. A view of the assault on Stony Point, including both sides of the Hudson, the fort in the distance, a battery and troops in the foreground at r.; below, at l., GATTEAUX.
