Obverse Description

Obverse Description: A woman, a deity of agriculture, sitting on a cartouche. Inside the cartouche is a picture of a model city with the sun rising. Around the woman is a sheath of wheat, a shovel, a plow, a bridge, and a granary. Around the rim, it is struck: "MICHIGAN STATE AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY." Under the woman it is stuck: "C.C.WRIGHT. D.&F."

Reverse Description

Reverse Description: Reverse: Around the rim, it is struck: "MICHIGAN STATE AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY. ORGANIZED MARCH 24TH. 1849." Inside the border, it is struck: "TO/ FOR/ AT THE/ MEETING 18" The rest is engraved.
