Commissioned in 1851 by Mario Bianchi Bandinelli for the Villa “Il Pavone” in Siena, designed ca. 1825 by Agostino Fantastici; Ranuccio Bianchi Bandinelli, Siena; Acquired from the Villa “Il Pavone” in 1950 by Alessandro Santucci, Milan; Luigi Santucci, Milan, and by descent in the Santucci family until 2016.
