D.V.* ornate columns and arcade upon which rests an arch uplifted by an angel upon which sits the Blessed Virgin, on the arch the inscription FOEDERIS / ARCA, bottom l. kneels St. Mark facing r. with lion behind, blessing the Doge, who kneels l. with both hands at his chest and with the ducal crown on the ground, exergue *G.B*, dart circle on edge of coin
