Obverse Description

Obverse Description: In white section on r. of note lies double-headed eagle (faint); Above double-headed eagle, "ROSSIYA", Below eagle "EDINAYA VEILKAYA NEDELIMAYA"; At the bottom r. section lies "100" in medallion. In center of l. side of note lies plaque with text in cartouche, "STO RUBLEY". To the l. of central plaque lies vertical plaque-like enclosure with double-headed eagle in medallion on top, with text, "NASTOYASHCHIY DENEZHNYY ZNAK VYPUSHCHEN ROSTOVSKOY NA DONU KONTOROY GOSUDARSTVENNAGO BANKA I IMEET HOZHDENIE NARAVNE S GOSUDARSTVENNYMI KREDITNYMI BILETAMI". On r. side of central plaque lies another vertical plaque-like enclosure with "1919" in medallion on top, with text, "100 / RUB". At bottom of note in small print, "UPRAVLYAYUSHCHIY" and "KASSIR" with signatures.

Reverse Description

Reverse Description: Blank portion on l. side of note. On r. side lies large plaque with decorative border with vegetal decorations on top and bottom. To the l. of plaque lies column with "100" in base and center, and angel on top. In top l. and r. corners of plaque lie "100" in medallions. Inside plaque in small print over a large "100" in background, "Nastoyashchiy denezhnyy znak obyazatelen k priemu v platezhi vsemi Pravitel'stvennymi i chastnymi uchrezhdeniyami, a takzhe pri raschetah mezhdu chastnymi litsami /// Poddelka denezhnyh znakov presleduetsya zakonom." Over r. side of plaque lies ovular framed illustration of mythological scene. To the r. of illustrated oval stands armored knight holding flag, with height spanning width of note. At bottom of note below plaque, "100 RUBLEY 100".
