Obverse Description: Flower design in all four corners, and embellished vegetal patterns on top, l. and r. margins. On l. side Image of Athena r. wearing attic helmet. Helmet consists of horse? figure and woman figure with on top of helmet. "ETHNIKE TRAPEZA TES ELLADOS." "DRACHME MIA" on dark blue background. "Nomos ATMB apo 21 Dekembriou 1885 / O Elektes? tou Sunedriou (signature stamped) / O Tamias tes Trapezes (signed)" Bradbury Wilkinson & Co Ld London" on bottom margin. Printed in red, blue and black ink. In background there is blue "1"

Reverse Description

Reverse Description: L. and r. medallions with 1 on top of blue pattern design. Middle medallion has Greek Royal Coat of arms where we see the national emblem of Greece that consists of a white Greek cross on a blue background flanked by Hercules on l. and r. wearing the skin of the Nemean Lion and holding club. There is small maltese cross suspended under the emblem and crown on top of the emblem. In swag "ISXUS MOU E AGAPE TOU LAOU." There are four flower designs where the middle medallion intercepts the l. and r. medallions. "BRADBURY WILKINSON AND COMPY. LW LONDON." Printed in blue ink
