Obverse Description: A portrayal of the statue of Victory from Samothrace; at the foot of the statue, to right, is the inscription: E. BLIN. D'APRES L'ANTIQUE [In imitation of the ancient statue]. Below the frame, in bas-relief, is the Latin motto: QUOVIS CUM VULNERE/ VICTRIX [She is victorious, despite any wound].

Reverse Description

Reverse Description: Within a frame, to the right at the foot of an oak tree the lowest branch of which is broken, a woman sits on a socle, dressed in ancient style and with her legs crossed, her chin resting on her right hand, whose arm is bent. Her right hand is behind her body and holding a dagger. Her head is laureled. She is looking at an ancient temple visible far in the distance. un temple antique. In the bottom part of the frame is a plaque for presentation, on which nothing is written. Below the frame, in bas-relief, the Latin motto: MEMINIT PATRIA [the homeland remembers]. Underneath the woman: E. BLIN.
