Obverse Description: Queen Caroline standing, crowned with scepter in her r. hand and watering with a pitcher or vase in her l. hand a plametto or sabal palm grove of young plants with palm trees behind and clouds above; "Grownig arts adorn empire". in exergue "Caroline protecting" with date below 1736.

Reverse Description

Reverse Description: Helmeted and draped goddess of wisdom Pallas Athena (Minerva) facing holding spear in r. hand and extending palm branch in l. At her feet flanking to l. implements of war ( a flag, spear, sword, classical helmet and shield) and r. objects of science and the arts(a statue bust, a globe, and artist's brush and palette, a book and a scroll); above: "Both hands filled for Britain", in exergue "George reigning"
