Obverse Description: IX XC in field. Christ, bearded and nimbate, wearing tunic and kolobion, seated upon throne without back; holds Gospels in l. hand. Pellet in each limb of nimbus cross.

Reverse Description

Reverse Description: Legend; in upper r. field. FUll length figure of emperor, bearded, on l., crowned by Birgin nimbate. Emperor wears stemma, divitision, collar-piece, and jeweled loros of simplified type; holds in r. hand labarum-headed scepter, and in l., gl. cr. Virgin wears tunic and maphorion.
