Join us in person at the Yale University Art Gallery or on Zoom for panel discussions related to the exhibition Mickalene Thomas / Portrait of an Unlikely Space and featuring artists, curators, and scholars. This program is followed by an in-person keynote conversation and reception at NXTHVN celebrating the release of the accompanying catalogue, which includes contributions by cocurators Mickalene Thomas (b. 1971, M.F.A. 2002) and Keely Orgeman, the Seymour H. Knox, Jr., Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, as well as scholar Deborah Willis.
