Featured Program, Mindful Movement with Art
Danielle Casioppo
Thursday, April 8, 2021, 12:30 pm
Join Danielle Casioppo, Education Specialist and Certified Yoga Teacher, Being Well at Yale, for a live virtual session of mindful movement inspired by a work in the Yale University Art Gallery’s collection. This session will focus on a drawing by the Lebanese artist, writer, and philosopher Kahlil Gibran, bringing to life its formal and symbolic elements through a series of gentle chair-based and standing movements and a brief guided meditation. The session lasts approximately 50 minutes. No yoga mats needed. A stable chair and clothing suitable for movement recommended. People of all abilities are welcome. Suitable for all levels.
Closed captions will be available in English.
