Bracelet Designer: R. J. Graziano (American, founded ca. 1978)

1985–90

American Decorative Arts

R. J. Graziano was in the jewelry business for more than thirty years. He completed his first major collection in the late 1970s at the request of Bloomingdale's. The collection sold out and he soon began working with Lord & Taylor and Neiman Marcus as well. His jewelry is most often constructed with gold- or silver-plated base metals and plastics adorned with Swarovski Austrian clear and colored crystals, glass beads, and simulated semiprecious stones. This wide and faceted bracelet is characteristic of his bold and bulky style of costume jewelry from the mid-1980s.
