The Gallery is free and open to the public.

We are located at 1111 Chapel Street between York and High Streets in New Haven, Conn. For custom driving, public transportation, and walking directions to the Gallery, use Google Maps.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I park?

Visitors can park in metered spaces on nearby streets or in the Chapel-York Garage, conveniently located at 150 York Street.

Due to a change in management at the Chapel-York Garage, we are no longer able to validate tickets in order to provide discounted parking for Gallery members.

Where is the accessible entrance?

An elevator opposite the main entrance at 1111 Chapel Street is wheelchair accessible.

Can I check personal items?

Lockers are available on a limited basis. Large bags, backpacks, shopping bags, umbrellas, food, and drinks are not permitted in the galleries.

Do you have a café or restaurant?

On-site dining is not available, but dozens of restaurants and coffee shops are located near the Gallery.
