The Gallery is free and open to the public from Tuesday through Sunday.

Hours

Tuesday–Friday 10:00 am–5:00 pm
Thursday (Sept.–June) 10:00 am–8:00 pm
Saturday–Sunday 11:00 am–5:00 pm


Closed Mondays (except for Yale Commencement) and on these major holidays: New Year’s Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day

The Gallery is free and open to the public.

Amenities and Parking

  • Lockers are available on a limited basis. Large bags, backpacks, shopping bags, umbrellas, food, and drinks are not permitted in the museum.
  • Wheelchairs are available. Ask the representative at the Information Desk.
  • Visitors can park in metered spaces on nearby streets or in the Chapel-York Garage, conveniently located at 150 York Street.
  • On-site dining is not available, but dozens of restaurants and coffee shops are located near the Gallery.
