The Gallery is working in close collaboration with Yale University leadership to safeguard against the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and to ensure the safety of our visitors and staff.

Update for October 16, 2020

Gallery Closes to the Public
In accordance with Yale University’s revised COVID-19 protocols, the Gallery will close to the public beginning Friday, October 16, 2020 and remain closed until further notice. Timed-entry tickets for this weekend will be canceled.

Gallery Welcomes Back Visitors
Three special exhibitions open to the public from Friday through Sunday beginning September 25, 2020.

The Gallery has canceled all class visits through April 30, 2020.

Gallery Closes to the Public
The Gallery will close to the public from March 13, 2020 through April 15, 2020.

All Tours Canceled through April 30
The Gallery has canceled all guided and self-guided school and community group tours through April 30, 2020.

Update for March 11, 2020

Change to Gallery’s Thursday Hours
Beginning Thursday, March 12, the Gallery will close at 5:00 pm for the next four Thursdays.

Public Programs Canceled through April 30
As a preventive measure, the Gallery has canceled all public programs through April 30, 2020. The full list of canceled programs is included on our web calendar.

Gallery Remains Open
The museum is currently open to the public during regularly scheduled hours.
