The Yale University Art Gallery Bulletin publishes original scholarship on works in the museum’s collection, contributed by Gallery curators, conservators, and fellows, as well as outside art historians and specialists. The 2024–25 issue highlights a broad range of works, including a portrait of a signer of the Declaration of Independence; a newly acquired sculpture by the American artist Maren Hassinger; a selection of South Asian textiles; a side chair by Frank Lloyd Wright; a drawing by the Dutch Golden Age painter Gerbrand van den Eeckhout; and a grouping of photographic objects featuring Abraham Lincoln. The 15 articles showcase the exciting research the Gallery’s collection continues to inspire.
