Gallery Alumni

The Yale University Art Gallery has more student employees and volunteers than it has full-time staff members. After graduation, we encourage students who have worked at the museum to remain engaged and informed as Gallery Alumni.

About Gallery Alumni

From curatorial interns to gallery dusters, students are essential to all aspects of museum operations. As Gallery Guides, Wurtele Gallery Teachers, and greeters at the Information Desk, students are often the first point of contact for the museum’s 200,000+ annual visitors. The entire Gallery staff is grateful for all of the hours and ideas that students contribute to the museum. If you are a student who has worked at the Gallery, we encourage you to stay connected after graduation by providing your current contact information using the brief survey below. The survey will also give us valuable feedback about your experience at the museum. By registering as a Gallery alum, you will receive email updates, a subscription to the Gallery’s tri-annual members’ magazine, and invitations to special Gallery Alumni programs and events in New Haven and other cities.
