Programs Advisory Committee

The Gallery’s new Programs Advisory Committee offers Yale students the chance to inform the content and focus of Gallery programs—from lectures and talks to performances and film screenings.

About the Program

The Programs Advisory Committee is an opportunity for students to inform the content and focus of Gallery programs. Considering accessibility and relevance, the committee advises on the development, implementation, and documentation of Gallery programs. As ambassadors for the museum across the campus and the community, the committee works together to define and build audiences, engage the collection in thoughtful ways, and connect to the broader intellectual resources of the University and community.

Program Requirements

Applicants must have a strong interest in art, museums, audience, and engagement and regularly attend programs at the museum, at the University, and in the community. Participants in the committee will be invited to meet once or twice a semester. The committee takes occasional field trips to area art institutions.
