古今我愛陶元亮，鄉里人稱馬少游。 吳偉業書。\r\n\r\nSeals:\r\n吳偉業印、梅邨 Wu Wei Ye Yin. Mei Cun.\r\n\r\n詩表達淡泊明志之意。陶元亮指東漢隱士陶潛。馬少遊，是漢將馬援從弟。其誌向淡泊，知足求安，無意功名，他認為優遊鄉裏即足以了此一生。《後漢書》卷二十四《馬援傳》：援乃擊牛釃酒，勞饗軍士。從容謂官屬曰：「吾從弟少游常哀吾慷慨多大志，曰：『士生一世，但取衣食裁足，乘下澤車，御款段馬，為郡掾史，守墳墓，鄉里稱善人，斯可矣。致求盈餘，但自苦耳。』當吾在浪泊、西里閒，虜未滅之時，下潦上霧，……臥念少游平生時語，何可得也！\r\n\r\nTranslation:\r\nIn all of history I have favored Tao Qian;\r\nPeople in town called me Ma Shaoyou.\r\nby Wu Weiye.
