Lyon, Sr., Hartford, Conn.; by inheritance in 1896 to his son Irving P. Lyon, Buffalo, New York; by purchase in 1929 to Francis P. Garvan, New York; by donation in 1931 to Yale University Art Gallery, New Haven, Conn., New Haven, Conn.
