Reverse Description: a map of the Saint Mihiel sector surmounted by a helmet, a shield and a palm branch above the inscription in English and in French ‘12 & 13 Sept 1918 The American Troops operating victoriously in the St. Mihiel Secteur broke the resistance of the enemy and captured 13,300 prisoners.
