Inner box lid front says, " Black medium size natsume (tea caddy, particularly made of lacquer on wood)". The outer box lid front bears the signature in ink, "Lacquerer Sotetsu" and a round seal of "Tetsu" (the latter half of the personal name Sotetsu)..
