Obverse Description: S.M.V.ALOY*MOC. A winged and haloed lion faces r. and looks upon the Doge (Alvise Mocenigo II), who genuflects facing l. The Doge holds a banner adorned with a cross. In exergue, *12*.

Reverse Description: *DEFENS.NOSTER*. Christ the redeemer blesses with his r. hand and holds the Gospel in his left.
