Accustomed to wine and whips in the past, steeped in shallow and boring calculations, petty bourgeois also nest in our new way of life, like fat toads in a marshy swamp. \r\n[description of the interior- a portrait of Marx hangs for appearance's sake, and a lamp hangs near the icons, the samovar hisses, people gossip, time flies unnoticed, etc.] \r\nHow sweetly the petty bourgeoisie enjoys the peace the last days, closing their eyes. Oh, if only we could go backwards, but time moves in great leaps. At least the aunts hang in frames as before, and there's a little pink ribbon around the dog's neck...\r\nComrade! Look - and prepare your weapon and remember: the petty bourgeoisie has not yet been defeated and it seeps poison into the healthy blood and strong muscles of our new way of life. Fight, but do not make any wrong moves. Recognize the petty bourgeois by his spite and swagger. And remember who serves as a scout in the camp of our enemies - the petty bourgeoisie!\r\n\r\nState Publishing House, Moscow & Leningrad, 1930 \r\nartist: Kalinkin
