Heian Minagawa Gen heidai (painted and written both by Minagawa gen [Kien's personal name] in Heian (historical name for Kyoto); two square seals following the signature, "Minagawa Gen in" (seal of M G; intaglio) and "Hakukyou shi" (Mr. Hakukyou [Kien's another pseudonym]; relief. The kanbouin (or opening seal at top right) is "Kien" (oval, relief).
