Inscribed within image, in stone, L: "Diameter about 66 in.; clear blue neon hung through middle of wire; R: High tension lead in silver or clear wire; detail neon and wire; 15000 volt transformer inside steel U-shaped leg bolted to wood." In lower border, in pencil: "16/68 - Tumbleweed- chrome plated barb wire sculpture 1964 - Jim Rosenquist 1970".
