    Warps white wool, about 30 th the inch. Wefts purple and white wool. Embroidery and brocading in white linen and red wool. Pattern: in set in a white wool fabric is a purple square on which is a lozenge lattice design . Each lozenge contains a white grill surrounded by white scrolls in each of which is a red dot. Around the lattice design is a border of ogival lozenges enclosing an S and alternating with bars.

    Warps white wool about 20 to the inch. Wefts white, black, red, brown. Details in white are embroidered. There is some dovetailing. Pattern: on a white ground is a large medallion in black on which is a pattern of interlacig circles surrounding a star shaped figure. The pattern is executed in white with detail in red and brown. There is a smaller eight pointed star in the same colors above it and part of a border pattern on one side.

    Warps white wool, about 20 to the inch. Wefts purple and white wool, tapestry woven, the pattern is made in white linen with a free bobbin or possibly a needle. The purple threads are dovetailed with the white and there is a row of white chain-stitch where the square is inserted. Pattern: on a purple ground are interlacing bands outlined in white linen. There is a border with a tree in outline.
