Yale University’s new president, Maurie McInnis, presents the 2024 Windham-Campbell Prizes in drama, fiction, nonfiction, and poetry, and Lydia Davis delivers the annual keynote address, “Why I Write.” Davis is introduced by Robyn Creswell, Associate Professor of Comparative Literature. Offered in conjunction with the Donald Windham–Sandy M. Campbell Literature Prizes, Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library, Yale University. Michael Kelleher, Director of the Windham-Campbell Prizes, moderates the program.
