Miranda Saylor, the Alice and Allan Kaplan Assistant Curator of American Paintings and Sculpture, leads a Gallery Talk focused on a selection of recently installed artworks from Latin America. The Yale University Art Gallery is in the process of expanding the Department of American Paintings and Sculpture to include work created beyond the present-day borders of the United States. This talk highlights recent measures undertaken toward reenvisioning a hemispheric approach to the art of the Americas.
