We cordially invite all visitors to attend a costume ball celebrating the artists, materials, and creative processes featured in the Gallery’s spring exhibitions. Join us for an evening of participatory studio activities, talks, and performances. Visitors are encouraged to come in costumes inspired by the ball’s theme: Plaster, Paper, Wood, and Wire.

Please note that oversized costumes and objects will not be allowed in the galleries.

Presented in conjunction with the exhibitions Joel Shapiro: Plaster, Paper, Wood, and Wire, Manuel Neri: The Human Figure in Plaster and on Paper, Pompeii: Photographs and Fragments, Sol LeWitt Wall Drawings: Expanding a Legacy, and Japan’s Global Baroque, 1550–1650. Generously sponsored by the Martin A. Ryerson Lectureship Fund.
