The Asian art galleries will be closed to the public beginning Monday, August 28. Located on the second floor of the Louis Kahn building, the galleries are being expanded and reinstalled to showcase more of the museum’s substantial collection of works from East Asia, South Asia, continental Southeast Asia, Iran, Iraq, and Turkey. Comprised of nearly 8,000 objects, the collection can still be explored online. The galleries will reopen to the public on Friday, October 27.
