Candlestick Maker: Helen Keeling Mills (American, 1871–1939)

Helen Keeling Mills was a member of the National Society of Craftsmen and the Boston Society of Arts and Crafts. The exaggerated rivets, hammered surface, and cusped outlines of her candlestick recall medieval or colonial metalwork.
