Grueby Faience Company was one of the best-known Arts and Crafts ceramic manufacturers, selling their work at galleries in Paris, at Tiffany and Company in New York, and through Gustav Stickley’s mail-order catalogues. This early vase is an example of their signature matte green glaze and stylized vegetal details.
