Note 1: Between 1928 and 1937, Mrs. Barrett acted as Garvan's principal agent in the South, particularly in Georgia and the Carolinas. She lived at Azalea Cottage, 2236 Walton Way, Augusta, Ga. Her summer address was: 16 Ocean Avenue, Wrightsville Beach, N.C.
