Note 1: According to Schuler Auktionen, the Kirchmaier print comes from a Swiss woman who now lives in the United States. She inherited the print from her father who died forty years ago. He had inherited the print from his father. (see email in curatorial file from Dr. F. Carlo Schmid of Boerner's who spoke to Elisabeth Zürcher at Schuler Auktionen on September 28, 2021)
