Obverse Description: Field divided into four rectangular quadrants, tall l. quadrant containing crowned medallion with red interior and grisaille Polish spread-eagle design, framed by intricate grisaille scrolling, fruit and foilage bouquets, long rectangular quadrant containing title, "JEDNA MARKA POLSKA," quadrant below text "Rzesza Niemiecka przyjmuje odpo- / wiedzlalnosc za splate biletow Polskiej / Krajowej Kasy Pozyczkowej w Markach / Niemiechkich po cenie nominalnej / Zarzad General-Gubernatorstwa / Warszawskiego / Warszawa, dn. 9go grudnia 1916 roku.," below (three signatures) followed by red circular medallion with Polish spread eagle emblem with two medallion wings containg "1"s flanked by broken date 19/17 and large black "1"s, fourth footnote quadrant reads "Kto podrabia lub falszuje bilety Polskiej Krajowej Kasy Pozycz- / kowej, bo puszcza w obieg lub usiluje puscie w obieg podrobione / lub falszowane bilety, podlega karze ciezkiego wieziemia."

Reverse Description: In field Blue-Red-Blue gradient, faded all-over brocade pattern, top center "BILET POLSKIEJKRAJOWEJ KASY POLYCZKOWEJ," central "1" medallion in Red region, two flanking Blue regions feature medallions with female portrait busts faced towards bank-note's center, bottom center "JEDNA MARKA POLSKA," black text serial number stanped in upper r. corner.
