Obverse Description: 100 in scrollwork in the top right corner. RICHMOND/FEB 17TH, 1864 above TWO YEARS AFTER/THE/RATIFICATION OF A/TREATY OF PEACE/BETWEEN/THE CONFEDERATE/STATES/AND THE/UNITED STATES/OF AMERICA which in turn lies above CONFEDERATE/STATES OF/AMERICA/ WILL PAY TO THE BEARER ON DEMAND/ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS above signatures. On the left side of the note, a man stands holding a rifle, and another man sits. On the right side, there is a bust l. of Alexander H Stephens.

Reverse Description

Reverse Description: HUNDRED in scrollwork on the blue background. HUNDRED in type is in the top and bottom centres of the note. 100 in scrollwork is in each corner of the note.
