Obverse Description: Undraped bust facing the right, in an oval medallion carried by an eagle in flight. The eagle is surrounded by diverging rays, and the medallion is draped with a ribbon bearing the inscription, PATRIAE PATER.

Reverse Description: STRUCK & DISTRIBUTED IN CIVIC PROCESSION FEBRUARY 22ND, 1832 THE CENTENNIAL ANNIVERSARY OF THE BIRTH DAY OF WASHINGTON BY THE GOLD & SILVER ARTIFICERS OF PHILAD. in eleven parallel lines.
