Obverse Description: IMP CAES MACRINVS AVG Laureate cuirassed bust right, from front, Medusa head at center of chest

Reverse Description

Reverse Description: COL IVL AVG FEL; BER in exergue Towered Astarte standing facing, her left foot on a prow, holding vertical cruciform spear and cornucopiae while crowned by Nike on column at right - all within a tetrastyle temple. She is flanked by winged genii with crossed legs standing on plinths while holding globes over their heads and facing inwards. In pediment: moon orb flanked by a star on each side. At apex: Neptune with dolphin and tripod striding right, his right arm around the waist of towered nymph Beroe who holds pitcher and distyle (?). At each corner of the roof: a facing Nike holding wreath above her head with both arms. The temple columns are pushed to the sides. The four narrow steps are flanked by inward facing genii holding tridents while riding dolphins with heads in basins on stands.
