Yale Collegium Musicum presents a musical chronicle of the Puritans’ migration to New England, the development of colonial society, the American Revolution, and the establishment of the United States and its Constitution. The group performs works by William Billings, Benjamin Carr, Francis Hopkinson, Thomas Ravenscroft, and others. Presented in conjunction with the exhibition Art and Industry in Early America: Rhode Island Furniture, 1650–1830.
