Join us for a viewing of this documentary, directed by Megumi Sasaki, which tells of the story of the generous giving program whereby collectors Dorothy and Herbert Vogel offered fifty works to an institution in each of the fifty states. A follow-up to the award winning documentary Herb & Dorothy, this film joins the couple as they travel the country to see their collection in new homes and with new audiences. Presented in conjunction with the student-curated exhibition “Many Things Placed Here and There: The Dorothy and Herbert Vogel Collection at the Yale University Art Gallery.” An exhibition tour will follow the screening.
