Conversation and Walking Tour, Claes Oldenburg: Inside and Out

On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of Claes Oldenburg’s sculpture Lipstick (Ascending) on Caterpillar Tracks (1969-74), join Pamela Franks, Deputy Director for Exhibitions, Programming, and Education and the Interim Seymour H. Knox, Jr., Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, and Paulina Pobocha, Assistant Curator, Department of Painting and Sculpture, the Museum of Modern Art, New York, in celebrating Oldenburg, B.A. 1950, with a conversation about his works on display at the Gallery and a walking tour that traces the history of his outdoor sculpture at Yale.
